Yeah, I knew Frank back in those days. If I remember right, his nickname was "Bing" Crowley I remember he lived in a real nice house in the SW part of Woodland, his Dad sold Ford autos for a dealership and, we didn't even have a black and white tv in our home, but I was acqainted with them just as they were coming in with rabbit ears and antennas. But I remember watching the first color tv coming in at Franks house. They laminated something on the tv screen and it did give some lousy color to it. Mostly red and green with a little black and white scattered around.
Actually Frank was known as Bingo...the name we all called him during our several years together in Little League baseball. I have no idea what the derivation of this nickname was. He was quite a good ball player and an affable guy. He has been gone now for many years but in my minds eye he is there with his baseball uniform on. Died way too young. tony
