Sheri Canevari
Sheri Canevari, daughter of John and Marguerite Canevari, died unexpectedly on Oct. 22, 2018. Sheri was born in Salt Lake City, UT. The family moved to Woodland, in 1955. She attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Woodland High School in 1962. Sheri moved to San Francisco after graduation and lived there for 10 years, where she worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and became the first woman to head their research department. After moving back to Woodland, she worked at the Daily Democrat for several years as the Social Editor. In 1989 she went to work for the UCD Bookstore in the advertising department. She retired as the advertising department manager in 2011.Sheri was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Douglas Canevari. She is survived by her sister, Therisa Friedrich (Bill); brothers, John (Debbie), Brett (Tonya), all of Woodland, and Tony (Kay) of Santa Rosa; seven nieces; three nephews; four great nieces, and four great nephews. Respecting Sheri's wishes there were no services.
