From Beth Hoffman (Class of '63):

Shirley attended Dingle School and graduated from there in 1958.  She then attended WHS class of '62, before moving to Arizona.  She moved back to Woodland and married Robert Brown, WHS class of '59.  They had 4 children and moved from California to Arizona and back to California, where they lived for more than 50 years.

She is survived by her husband Bob and sons Steve, Darrel and Anthony.  Her daughter died of cancer about 2 weeks before Shirley passed.

She was a friend from our years at Dingle and the friendship endured for the rest of her life.  I came from Montana to see her in February of 2021. She was a fun and loyal friend and our last time together was bittersweet as we were aware of how little time she had left.  I miss her undying support and love, her quick wit and her laughter.
