George Mitchell,  November 29, 1942 - February 27, 2021

George Ralph Mitchell, age 78, passed away in Woodland, Ca on February 27th, 2021. He was a graduate of Woodland High School. He went on to become an Air Traffic Controller and worked in Aviation for over 40 years. He moved to San Jose in the 1970's and spent many years in the Bay Area before returning to Woodland CA in 2017 to retire in his family's home.
He enjoyed aviation, the Reno air races, fishing and the outdoors. He is survived by his three children Staci Mitchell, Lori Mitchell, and Scott Mitchell. He is also survived by his granddaughter Marceline MacFarland. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Len.

A memorial service will take place at Pioneer Park in Woodland, CA on Friday, March 12th at 12 p.m. Snacks & drinks will be served.
